Welcome to OnLok Skateboards. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from our online store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the ACL.
1. About Us
This website is operated by Caitlyn Plewright ABN 18 767 294 352 trading as OnLok Skateboards ("we", "us", "our").
By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Orders
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
Once an order has been placed, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This does not mean your order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to:
- refuse or cancel any order;
- limit quantities purchased;
- cancel orders due to pricing errors or stock discrepancies; or
- cancel orders suspected to be fraudulent.
If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.
3. Pricing
All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices include GST where applicable.
Prices may change without notice.
Shipping costs are calculated separately at checkout.
4. Payment
Payment must be made in full before your order is dispatched.
We accept payment methods displayed at checkout.
5. Shipping
Orders are generally dispatched within 1–3 business days.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on the courier and destination.
Once an order has been dispatched, risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping providers, customs, weather events or circumstances beyond our control.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct. We cannot guarantee changes after an order has been placed.
6. Pre-Orders
From time to time we may offer products for pre-order.
Estimated dispatch dates are provided as a guide only and may change due to manufacturing or shipping delays.
If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, your order may be held until all items are available unless otherwise stated.
Payment is taken at the time the pre-order is placed.
7. Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase.
If you change your mind, we may offer an exchange or store credit within 30 days of delivery provided:
- the item is unused;
- tags remain attached (where applicable);
- the item is returned in original condition; and
- proof of purchase is provided.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.
For hygiene reasons, some items may not be eligible for return.
8. Faulty Products
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a product is faulty, damaged, significantly different from its description, or fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the nature of the issue.
Please contact us as soon as possible with:
- your order number;
- photographs of the issue; and
- a description of the fault.
We may require the item to be returned for assessment before determining the appropriate remedy.
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, improper assembly or modifications is not considered a manufacturing fault.
9. Skateboarding Disclaimer
Skateboarding is an inherently dangerous activity.
Products sold by OnLok should only be used as intended and with appropriate safety equipment.
We recommend wearing a certified helmet and protective gear whenever skateboarding.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnLok accepts no responsibility for injuries, loss or damage resulting from misuse of products.
Nothing in this clause limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Product Information
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images and colours are accurate.
Due to differences in monitors, lighting and manufacturing processes, colours and finishes may vary slightly from those displayed.
Measurements are approximate.
11. Gift Cards & Discount Codes
Gift cards and promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to cancel promotional offers or discount codes at any time.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including logos, photographs, graphics, artwork, product designs and text, remains the property of OnLok unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We only collect information necessary to process orders, provide customer support and improve our services.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products where such liability can lawfully be excluded.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes take effect immediately upon publication on our website.
